Our Story

Saks Corner started out from a small corner shop and a tiny workshop in Salt River, Cape Town.

Our love for the simplicity and quality mid century design took us on the path of my two Grandfathers, Harry and Harry. One was a carpenter and the other owned a general store in Parkmore, which is where we got our name Saks Corner.

Today our busy workshop makes a wide range of quality solid wood furniture, decor and upholstered items. With an emphasis on sustainable design without waste and the highest quality.
